Finding the ideal PMU machine is only the first step in establishing your permanent makeup tool collection; you'll also need to acquire high quality cartridges to fit!
Tina Davies' Professional Precision is now available. Ink cartridges are something to adore.
About the Tina Davies Needle Cartridges
These universally designed cartridges are crafted to ensure maximum hygiene, precision, and accuracy. They feature a tightly fitting casing that securely envelops the needle for enhanced stability and accuracy, along with an extended, transparent tip that allows you to precisely see where the pigment is being applied.
Additionally, the cartridges are equipped with an integrated safety membrane that prevents fluids and pigment from leaking back into the machine, ensuring hygiene is maintained. The membrane’s low tension improves the performance of your PMU machine while reducing strain on the motor.
The unique silicone finger rests are incredibly comfortable, allowing you to grip the machine closer to the cartridge for better control and comfort throughout long treatment sessions.
Designed with ultra-flexible needles, these cartridges are ideal for PMU. They’re gentle enough to replicate a brushstroke, starting at 0.25 mm, making them perfect for pigment implantation with minimal skin trauma and redness.
They come in a variety of needle configurations, including 1-3 round liners, 3-5 round shaders, and 7-9 curved magnums, all made from medical-grade 304 stainless steel. These cartridges are versatile enough for delicate treatments like brows, areola, eyeliner, and lips.
The adaptability of the cartridges makes them suitable for various techniques such as whipping, sweeping, and pendulum motions, making them perfect for pixelated, powdery brows.
If you’re unsure where to start, a popular choice for detailed, precise work is the 0.25 mm 1RL. Alternatively, you can try a sample pack featuring 10 cartridges with 8 different needle configurations.
Tina Davies products are always of the highest quality, and these cartridges are no exception. Find the ideal cartridge for you – beautifully designed for both artist and client comfort.
Choosing a size of Tina Davies Needle Cartridges
Tattooing is an art form, and choosing the right needle size often comes down to personal preference. The needle size you use depends on the design, as well as the type and quality of the skin you're working on.
Smaller needles, like the 1RL, are ideal for highly detailed and pixelated pigment placement. Larger needles, such as the 3RL and 5RS, are more efficient for covering larger areas. The biggest needles, like the 7CM and 9CM, provide the most coverage but are less suited for fine details.
To meet your design needs, you can use a combination of needle sizes. Many artists now use different needle groupings to complete their work more efficiently, reducing the amount of "needle time in skin." This is important because minimizing trauma is key to achieving excellent results and pigment retention. Ultimately, we all want our PMU designs to heal as intended, with clear definition and vibrant color.
